Near the end of 2023, Sam and Amanda each separately felt a call from God to plant a Covenant church in Manhattan. Not even ever having met, they both reached out to the Midwest Conference to take the next steps in discerning this call. They soon were connected and began discussing ideas and dreams for a new church in Manhattan. God’s providential hand has been evident from the very start!

In the summer of 2024, we began meeting with a group of people who shared a similar vision for this new church. Throughout the fall we continued to meet to deepen our fellowship, pray together, and seek God’s will.

This is where YOU come in! We are now working to grow our Launch Team for the church—the group of people who will start, build, and be the church. Our story is just getting started, and we are praying for people who have an excitement for our vision and mission to join us as we prepare to launch this church.
